SmartTechlab

The Department of Industrial Engineering and Informatics built the laboratory in 2020. The laboratory is equipped with a Keyence camera system, two integrated robots (collaborative robot ABB Yumi and Scara Robot Mitsubishi), a modern digital microscope with interchangeable lenses and multiple sensors. All measuring systems are integrated into an automated belt line with PLC control, where samples can be measured in an automated cycle. There are two data collection and processing facilities in the laboratory rack cabinets with two powerful servers with cloud storage and reliable data storage and backup via RAID-5. To connect the collaborative robot with the staff, there is a device for mixed (additional) Microsoft Hololens 2 located here.
